Hell, or the patience to remove it again. I would really love to see a dyno pull of a stock ECU + PC or B vs the flash but I don't have dyno money or the money to spend on a spare ECU. well, I'll be damned they backed it up in my opinion. These guys come in with this "Better than PC/Bazazz" talk. All in all I am completely thrilled with this whole thing, I had been truly skeptical about it from the get go. I bought on EBay, filled out a form online, shipped my ECU naked (no papers nothing else) and they shipped back a magic box that got back to me in 6 days. The guys GT were fast and the whole operation was completely seamless. If you're not an idiot it probably takes 5 minutes to do. The rubber gasket that holds the ECU down is a bitch to pull off if you've got giant hands (as I apparently do) and so I had to pull my tail section back and my battery out. The removal of the ECU is straightforward, however it was a bit of a pain in the ass. Honestly I don't have very good gear at all, but. I only got a short 10 minute ride in because it's 30 fucking degrees and I don't have very good cold weather gear. As I mentioned above, the throttle note sounds slightly deeper. It definitely smoothed low-speed throttle response out but didn't make a night and day difference. Others had talked about the drastic effect a TRE had made on their bike's performance, but I never really saw it with my AMR TRE. Anyway, what I felt was almost like the bike had been uncorked. Rolled onto the street and went for a 1st gear power-up, well I'm an idiot (noted above) and the tires are bald (I've got a set of Pilot Road 2's ready to get mounted) and cold. In my giddiness I geared up and hopped on. I loaded my PC3 with a zero-map and then let the bike warm up to around 150° and once she was warm I gave it a good twist (12K or so) and it sounded like a different bike to be honest. I may be crazy or stupid and probably both, but that's what I observed. I want to start by saying that when I first started the bike it was idled smoother than before. These guys are the real deal and if you want a CLEAN ECU FLASH and dont want to mess yours up downloading enginuity software and doing it yourself save the PC3 money and TRE Devices and flash that baby for 100 Bones. Check their feedback you can verify that. \thank you so much GSXRTUNE.COM / CGCYCLES I am a washington state resident and not affiliated with these dudes. Not as strong as my 162 RWHP zx10r but it hits pretty hard now. HOLY SHIT liter bike power on a 600 frame.Of course I am being sarcastic and definatelyy 30 HP from a liter bike but it feels so strong now. I was creaming myself and smiling so big my face hurt. I let off and rode the tank a bit and rode it to red-line and quick-shifted to 2nd gear and the momentum continued right about 9 K rpms the front tire started to lift again. The front tire rose so fast I thought I was riding my zx10r. I got out on the highway and slowed to a rolling 4 g's and nailed it. I let it warm up and it hit 145 degrees and when i twisted the throttle I knew right off the HIT it was missing was now found. I started the bike and it smelled a little rich but it hadnt been started in 2 weeks now right. I had the TRE Done, Top Speed Removed and a Taylor - made F/S PC3 Map loaded., Was going to do a o2 sensor removed but this year didnt have o2 sensors.Ĥth. They received my ECU Friday and had it back to me Tuesday.ģrd. They flashed it and had it back to me in 3 days of them receiving my ECU.
