Medieval 2 is NOT the same format as Empire in ANY way.Īlso, that "The Darthmod AI was designed to be played on Hard / Hard." is absolutely BUNK as the AI is hard coded and cannot be changed. This is the link to Empire Total War Darthmod. I finished the Darthmod M2TW on Hard weeks ago. So, to avoid these kind of headaches, I always play it on Hard. In VH Campaing, some says that the AI tends to declare war on you with no much reasons. Some players reports that in VH Battles the AI constantly tries melee engages (thinking have the boosts). On VH difficulty they could be little stupids sometimes, because of the "overconfidence" on the boosts they should have. On Hard they are more balanced (because the AI thinks still have the boost). On Medium difficulty the AI remais a little "pacific", both in battle and in campaing. They (Darth's team) deleted the AI boosts, so the only thing that change in the difficulties is the AI agressivenes. The Darthmod AI was designed to be played on Hard / Hard. It worked for me and I hope it works for you. Click and drag the new folder back to the Empire Total War section in the file explorer using destonation from above. I just did step two and overwrote the files in Darth\data\sounds. In my case, I fixed it following these steps: 'The following steps will correct this problem: 1) Delete the files in DarthModdatasounds 2) Copy events.dat and events. Its because of this new 'Definitive Edition' thing. "The following steps will correct this problem:ġ) Delete the files in DarthMod\data\soundsĢ) Copy events.dat and events.idx from Medieval II Total War\data\sounds to Darth\data\sounds" I had the same problem to play Darthmod Medieval 2.
